This special event celebrates one of Southwest Virginia’s favorite writers, Adriana Trigiani, with an evening of food, drink, book sales and signings, and entertainment by Trigiani and her brother Michael’s band from Nashville playing Italian/bluegrass music.
Trigiani is the author of the popular Big Stone Gap trilogy and directed the film based on the first book in the series. Her new novel All the Stars in Heaven is an epic that takes place in the Golden Age of Hollywood.Find out more »

An Evening of Words and Music with the locally popular Wolf Hills Jazz Quartet, and Writers’ Day authors: Rita Quillen, RJ Harris, Joan Donaldson, and Eugene Wolf. The band will provide jazz interludes for readings and performances by our authors throughout their set. Heartwood’s Brew Bar Bites, Treats and Beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. Come join us for this popular capstone event for Writers’ Day.
