For the 20th year, “Haint Mistress” Donnamarie Emmert will lead nightly ghost tours of downtown Abingdon, beginning at 7:30 each night. The tours will begin at the Fairy Fountain across from Barter Theatre. Tours are approximately 2 hours long and will follow Main Street, where folks will hear history and the “ghostly goings-on” of historic Abingdon. Reservations are not necessary. In case of rain, the tours will not meet. The cost is $15.00 per person. Please wear comfortable shoes. The tours are not suggested for children under 10, strollers or any wheeled conveyances.
