The streets of Abingdon ring with the sounds of music during the Virginia Highlands Festival. From Classical Sundays to a weekday Noon Time Series, to Celtic Weekend, Gospel Music Day, and Old-Time Bluegrass Music. There's something for everyone!
Some of the music offered in recent years featured Reagon Boggs, Bonepony, Divine MAGge, Beach Bash featuring The Drifters, Clint Miller, The Wiyos, Jimmy Fleenor & the Highlands All-Stars, The Trillium Flute Ensemble, Al Petteway & Amy White, David Munnelly Band, The VW Boys and The Arthur Lovelady Band, Boys of the Lough and Hunting McLeod to name a few.
